“Such a sweet clean romance. Gotta love the firefighter and the baker in small town USA.”

“I think if there wasn't 20+ side characters this would've been more likeable. I got lost on who did what and who was who to the point I had to write it down on paper on who everyone was and where they worked and who they were married to, like holy moly, I get its a small town romance but in the end I think I wrote down 26 characters (not including the main 3.) In the end, I really liked the book, the main characters were so cute. Very nice small town romance with little biblical references inside.
Do yourself a favor and grab a piece of paper to write everyone down on as you go, it makes it way easier.”

“What do you get when you combine a handsome fireman chief, the resident baker and an adorable baby in a small town setting? You get a really sweet story that is sure to make you smile! I enjoyed this book, it has a touch of mystery to go with a fun friends to more romance which is one of my favorite tropes. I also really liked how the author used both Annie and Josh’s backstories in the elements keeping them apart. That added a great layer to the book. I was also happy to learn that this is the author’s second story featuring these characters and I have already added the first book to my TBR pile. Looking forward to reading Jack & Emerson’s story as well.
I received a copy of this book through JustRead and was not required to post a positive review. All thoughts are my own.”
