The Fey Hotel

By Vermilion H. Baine
The Fey Hotel by Vermilion H. Baine digital book - Fable

Publisher Description

A mysterious inn, hidden away on the western coast of Washington, has asked for help.

Avalon, sent to restore the failing reputation of the Refuge on the Moor, carries a secret that could lead to her own destruction. A secret she’s kept since birth, and one that the grumpy, short-tempered innkeeper becomes the first to discover.

Elden is the unwilling manager of a once great, and magical, hotel—that is failing under his inexperienced hand. When he reluctantly requests the help of a hotel management company, he’s introduced to Avalon—someone that has more in common with him than either of them knows.

They fight their past, and one another, but the pair must learn to work together—not only to save the inn, but to save everyone they love.

The Fey Hotel is a slow-burn, light enemies to lovers, portal fantasy romance.
Perfect for Gilmore Girls fans and lovers of fairy tales and mythology.

This is the first book in a series of standalone fantasy romances, Enchanted with the Enemy.

Each book features new characters, but their stories exist in the same world and around the same time.

Slightly Smiling Face“This was such a fun adventure. There were some parts that were bland, but they didn’t last long — it was a quick read overall. I loved the characters and the magical world. It was one of the few books that I’ve enjoyed where magic is in a modern setting! I’m super excited to start Academy of the Dead next, sounds like a great dark read for spooky season 😍”

Beaming Face with Smiling Eyes“This books has all the ingredients for a 5 star read: - Found Family - Urban(ish) Fantasy - Swoony, tall, dark & handsome MMC who is also endearingly awkward - Fierce, loyal, sarcastic FMC who is loveably insecure - Slow burn enemies to lovers - Secrets - Nicknames And let me tell you - it didn’t disappoint! Baine’s writing style is easy to read but still allows for urgency in the high action sections. The story was well constructed and used known lore about the fae but added its own spin. If you’re in the mood for a stand-alone romantasy with sassy banter, fun adventures and a damn cute HEA, this one is for you!”

Smiling Face with Heart-Eyes“I absolutely loved this book. Cozy, magical, humorous, and the tension between our grumpy and grumpy main characters was perfect. This will definitely be a book that I reread every fall or winter. The writing style was beautiful and descriptive. This book was such a fun read.”

“A Magical Escape: The Fey Hotel It was so good!! I finished it in just a few days because I couldn't put it down. The enemies-to-lovers trope was executed perfectly, and the banter between the characters was top-notch. Even 70% into the book, I was still hooked, unable to imagine how all the questions would be wrapped up. But it all came together beautifully, leaving me with a satisfying book high. Highly recommend!”
