“I absolutely loved this book. It's more of 4.5 ⭐️, it was such a good insight into Zimbabwe and the struggles the country has been facing with Mugabe's dictatorial rule. I enjoyed the writing with all the use of vocabulary flair and generally how Peter made me connect with the people in their struggle and even in the funny moments.
It definitely opened my eyes on just how dire the situation of Zimbabwe has been.”

“The best summary of Zimbabwe, 1980-2011, that I can think of. Probably a bit out of date, now that Mugabe has been deposed in a coup, but ever since reading The Fear I've been wishing for change in Zimbabwe, even if this is what it looks like (although it remains to see if this is a change for the better).”
