The Fake Divination Offense

By Sara Raasch
The Fake Divination Offense by Sara Raasch digital book - Fable

Publisher Description

From New York Times bestseller Sara Raasch, sports romance gets a Dungeons & Dragons makeover with the next book in the Magic and Romance series that follows half-giant Orok, forced into a PR relationship with a feisty, fan-favorite cheerleader.

Orok Monroe: Half-giant. Rawball defensive tank on the Philadelphia Hellhounds. Follower of Urzoth...only Orok’s tired of following the god of aggression.

Alexo Warden: Cheerleader. Human? A dancer with a stadium’s worth of secrets.

When Orok saves Alexo at a bar, fans go feral for the star athlete protecting the pint-size dude-in-distress. The Hellhounds propose that Orok and Alexo start a PR relationship to put a positive spin on Orok’s god. Orok is set to refuse and renounce Urzoth—but that wouldn’t let him see Alexo again.

So, like a sap, he agrees.

As Orok tries to drop the fake part of their fake-relationship, Alexo’s dangerous truths emerge. To save him, Orok will have to sacrifice far more than his divine association.

The Fake Divination Offense Reviews

3.5
“This book follows the story of Orok Monroe, a character from the first book in the series, in a MM romance with a cheerleader for his Rawball team. I felt there was not as much action as the first book, but the focus is more on the importance of mental health and listening to your heart. The LGBTQ+ representation is excellent, I appreciated that there was not even a whiff of homophobia, as it should be. The narrator does a good job of capturing the different personalities of the characters. There are explicit sex scenes with some humor and a dash of fantasy. If you are a fan of this genre, I think you will like this book! Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the audiobook. It is publishing soon - May 19th!”
“I’m embarrassed by how much I like Sara Raasch books but… *shrugs*”
“Ugh! I have LOVED all the books I’ve read by Sara Raasch so far, but this missed the mark. This felt like 2 damages people feeding off of each and hidden by a kink. I wanted more healing. Also didn’t like the narrator”
