The Fairwing School for Troubled Girls Reviews

“I absolutely loved this novella. It kept me hooked from the moment I started reading it until the end. I didn't expect what happened throughout it. I couldn't imagine what these girls had to deal with and then finding out vampires were real.”
“It's only after Ellen gets in trouble at school that she ends up being sent to The Fairwing School for Trouble Girls. It is here at this school that she is supposed to learn how to be a proper lady in every way. She also learns to speak several different languages, and she has the opportunity to learn how to become an accomplished woman in the eyes of society. Her teachers, on the other hand, they are the ones who start acting strange when any girl comes back from detention. These girls do more than just come back from detention, though. They come back somehow changed. And Ellen can't figure out what's going on with the other girls and why they are all acting so strange. Or what's really going on with that detention. The Fairwing School holds some very deep dark secrets. The question is, what will you find when you enter inside? They say that some secrets are the ones that are best left untold, and yet, there are those secrets that are best told and aired out, and those secrets are the ones that you will survive. Misbehaving, skipping class, hiding out behind the bleachers with boys, that's our FMC Ellen, a troubled young teen. Eventually, like all parents, they finally decide that enough is enough, and Ellen's lies and dishonesty have finally taken a toll on them and left them feeling like they have no other choice. They realize that they have no other choice and they decide that they need to change her course and they take her to a school for trouble girls, one that's going to teach her a lesson. Ellen fights and fights, arguing that she doesn't need to go, that she will change, and that she can change without this school, but her arguments fall on dear ears and off she goes. As she is introduced to the other girls and starts to get to know them, she starts to realize that there is something strange going on and there are changes happening that she doesn't understand. She sees the girls around her and the town folk fighting for survival, on their own, without any help from anyone. The only question left is, are any of them going to survive any of this? Like most of Abby Woodland's book, this was another quick read. Honestly, it is one of the things that I love about Abby Woodland's books. They are quick to read and enjoy. I read so many thick books that having a few short ones in the mix is really nice. This one is so full of intrigue, surprise, action, and so much more. It reminds me of some sick and twisted game. But, it was so enjoyable, the normal for Abby's books. I can't wait to read whatever Abby writes next. I am always ready for a great Abby Woodland read.”
