The Evolution of Claire (Jurassic World)

By Tess Sharpe
The Evolution of Claire (Jurassic World) by Tess Sharpe digital book - Fable

Publisher Description

Don't miss this pulse-pounding prequel to the Jurassic World movies that reveals the never-before-seen backstory of beloved film character Claire Dearing.

Freshman year in college is full of obstacles--there are messy roommates, cranky professors, and disgusting dining halls. But for Claire Dearing, add "How to properly avoid being eaten by a dinosaur" to that list.

The year is 2004, and Claire has been given the chance of a lifetime: the opportunity to intern at the Jurassic World theme park less than a year before it opens to the public. She is laser-focused, with her sights set on bettering the lives of all animals worldwide. But life at the park isn't all test-driving gyrospheres and falling head over heels for a fellow student named Justin . . . though she does that too. Rumors and suspicions flood the island, and Claire is determined to unravel the truth.

As Claire searches for answers, she and Justin find themselves thrust into a sinister plot that will leave Claire forever changed, forcing her to question everything she thought she knew and bringing her one step closer to the Claire viewers met in Jurassic World and who they'll return to in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

“☆3/5 Title:The Evolution of Claire Author:Tess Sharpe Genre: Si-Fi , thriller, YA Pages:400 Started:April 15, 2024 Ended:April 26, 2024 1st published: June 26, 2018 (I took a small break reading this book on the 18-23) Overall: Honestly this is my second time reading this, I just still have a hard time really getting into this story. I was almost tempted to dnf at the second time reading, but I really wanted to remember the rexy scene in the raptor scene in the book cuz I just I wanted to learn more about that cuz I couldn't remember. Honestly this is a read that if you want to read it go for it if you want to add it because it's just Jurassic Park you can but it's not like a book you have to read honestly I mean I don't even think there's an audiobook for this I don't know I don't read audiobooks so I wouldn't know. Also I love the fact that all of and Rex is in this story which makes it more sad when you know who all of is in the story and pearl when you know her when you get to the movies but either way this isn't a have to read book for the series if you want to go ahead I'm warning you it is a bit boring just like how in some scenes in the Jurassic Park books The originals they were a bit somewhat boring but this one it's just like really not my style either way it's still cool to have in my collection I guess.”
