The Elephant That Could Not Jump
ByPublisher Description
This book is geared to reach the preschool to eight-year-olds. The size of the book should be 8.5 by 11. When I had learned that elephants are the only animals that cannot jump, my mind began thinking of this story. Even as a child, stories would got through my mind. I loved fairy tales. My mom would read to us every night. My imagination would run amuck. I would be a fairy princess, a queen, whatever. I was a skinny, homely kid with curly blond hair. Naturally, books would become an escape for me.

About Pat Hill
I am widowed. I was married to Burl Hill for fifty-six years. He passed away on January 24, 2015. We had three children, two girls and one boy. Carla, the oldest, preceded him in death at age forty-two. She is survived by two sons, Victor and Jean Patrick, and one grandchild, Carla Ann Cummings. Michelle (Mikey) had two children, Jeremy and Misty. Misty had two children, Benjamin Patrick and Wynter Jones. Benji has one son, Austin Robert, aged sixteen months. Jeremy has two daughters—Taylor McGee, who is in college in North Texas, and Tori McGee, who is ten and a student in Rosemead elementary.
I served in the Air Force and had gotten some of my nurse’s training under the GI bill. Tony, the youngest, served in the Navy. His dad had been in the Navy also. Carla had been in the Army. Tony is married to Lisa, and she and I are attending Richland College, pursuing art.
My hobbies were skating, swimming, painting, cartooning, and all types of art. I have had to slow down a bit related to having ovarian cancer and, twenty-one years later, colon cancer. I spend time just counting my blessings and grandkids.
