“I mean I liked but not as much as the first book… I kinda feel like I wish she used her magic a lot more or even learned to use or understand it more. It lowkey felt like this book was 3 books into one. Still enjoyable tho.
LOL I was reading other people’s reviews and I am now adding to mine cause I totally agree. Like the pacing of the book was just not my fave. There was just too much going on like I found myself rolling my eyes or thinking it was over when it really wasn’t. It was like one thing after another and no time to process the story. I am also a bit disappointed about the settings, it was hard to picture the places shiori visited since it felt like we didn’t get to spend enough time in each of them.”
