“This was everything I expected from a 1988 high fantasy book. The book started a little slower as the author used some seemingly mundane tasks and events to develop the world. However, the pace then picks up, and we get a few extra pov's to keep track of all the world events. By the end, I had a difficult time putting it down! Read this if you like a high fantasy that will give you a vocabulary lesson and the feel of an 80s/90s era plot. Skip if you need action from the first page.”
