“I’ve been in a slump the last couple of weeks, but when I started this one, I couldn’t stop. I was addicted to Amelia and Bennett, she pushed him mentally, physically, and politically and I loved when they went toe to toe over politics. I loved it, and I mean that with every bone in my body.
Amelia had a rough past and it continues to come out in waves as she gets more comfortable with Bennett and when it comes out by force. Her backstory is half the reason I loved this book so much, she is so headstrong and wants to make changes to those less fortunate cause she was once in their spot and wants to help whoever she can. Bennett doesn’t understand being poor, especially as a duke, and can’t marry a commoner so he makes a lot of missteps and insults Amelia accidentally a lot, it very much gives Pride and Prejudice vibes that I just loved it.
All in all this book was just so good, and well highly recommend it for any historical romance lovers out there!”

About Virginia Heath
When Virginia Heath was a little girl it look her ages to fall asleep, so she made up stories in her head to pass the time while she was staring at the ceiling. As she got older, the stories became more complicated, sometimes taking weeks to get to the happy ending. Then one day, she decided to embrace the insomnia and start writing them down. Over thirty books and four Romantic Novel of the Year Award nominations later, it still takes her forever to fall asleep.
