“I’ve heard many people say that Ashley Poston’s novels never live up to the legacy she created with The Seven Year Slip, but I have to strongly disagree.
Each time I read one of her books, I’m usually in some sort of reading/writing slump. There’s something so comforting about her writing, and I’ll forever be appreciative of it. She has yet to fail me with her storytelling, and all three that I’ve read so far have been instant five star reads.
Florence’s family was so full of love, and her relationship with Benji was so endearing—how could I not fall in love with it? Florence’s overcoming of not just a massive writing slump, but also her temporarily loss of who she was, was inspiring in a way.
That being said I loved the book five stars blah blah ya”
“Minimal spice. Super cute plot. That twist did NOT click for me- but some other twists did! Absolutely love a ‘forced proximity’ type of romance novel !”
