“The Dark Tower V: Wolves of the Calla (a) - Geat to get back into the DT after some related reading. This story takes place in Manhattan and the Calla. Interesting characters in both places and we get to meet Father Callahan. We also get the first taste of stephen becoming aware of Stephen King's books and that they're somehow apart of them. We learn about the throwing plate weapons, Black Thirteen, which Father Callahan gives to Roland, and Susannah's pregnancy. The ka-tet battles the wolves at the end and saves the town, but they lose Susannah. Overall a good fast paced story that got me back into the DT universe.”
