“"The Apostle” by James Bennett
The horror is that how far envy can push a person to do bad things, no matter to whom. This story is about a very strict, religious father (a vicar), his son and his two daughters. My favorite part is that how one child wants what the other child has. Siblings rivalry but more sinister. 4 ⭐
“The Snow Child” by Alison Littlewood (reprint)
Denial. A mother who lost her daughter but insisted that she can replace said daughter with another children. Mother's love is blind but mother's denial can be deadly. 4 ⭐
“Ruminants” by Kay Chronister
Very eerie. These animals are mystery and their ties to every carer is unanswered, but somehow the cliffhanger lingers into something terrifying. I love the unknown element of this story. 5 ⭐
“Bunting” Neil Williamson (reprint)
Basically a person who has the tendency to peel his skin off. The other things are not understandable. 2 ⭐”
