“This version of faerie is one of my favorites❤️. Jude is a fun fmc to follow, as well as many of the other characters you come to know. I loved reading this book, and would recommend it to anyone wanting to get into fantasy. One of my favorite quotes from the novel: “The revel will go on, I realize. Everything will go on. “Overall I enjoyed this book. The characters are interesting and the world was pretty different from other fantasy romance books. However, it sometimes felt like the plot would take a turn just for the sake of taking a turn. I also didn't really enjoy the romance part as it felt a bit forced. “I love the world and ideas in this series, but for some reason I just couldn’t really connect and get into it until the third book. I felt like I should’ve liked it way more, it was doing all the right things, but I didn’t feel immersed in the story. “In the beginning the book was hard to come into. The writing just wasn't that fast paced but I did enjoy the storyline. Cardan was just amazing and I totally fell in love with him. I also loved Jude she is a fierceful young woman who is afraid but still pushen through. I loved the fact that eventho she witnessed a lot of murder she still is full of love for others.
