“The basic legal story was good. The writing was disjointed and felt like chapters were left unfinished. The narrator might have been the worst I have heard. You could hear her inhalations, swallowing, and over bodily functions. Her reading style was monotone. Every character sounded the same and lacked emotion.
I gave this a 3 for the main story line. Stacking history into current times and relating that to a medical / legal story was good writing. It felt like the editor wanted a bit of romance added in and that was done very poorly.”
