The Complete Short Stories of Katherine Mansfield - Six Volumes and the Unfinished Collection - Unabridged
ByPublisher Description
Katherine Mansfield was one of the most famous and celebrated short fiction writers of the 20th century. In her brief life - she died of tuberculosis at age thirty-four - she produced dozens of short stories, all of which are presented here, unabridged and as they originally appeared in print.
These stories are from six of her collections: "In a German Pension" (1911), "Bliss, and Other Stories" (1920), "The Doves' Next and Other Stories" (1920), "The Garden Party, and Other Stories" (1922), "Something Childish and Other Stories" (1923) and the posthumous tale "The Aloe" (1930) - all of which were enormously popular when they were first published.
Mansfield's works have gone on to be revered by critics and readers all over the world and are often numbered among the finest pieces of short fiction ever written.
This volume also contains over a dozen of Ms. Mansfield's unfinished stories, which are presented with an accompanying essay detailing the notes Mansfield left about her plans to complete these stories.
