Toronto writer A.M. Dellamonica has a book's worth of fiction up here on Tor.com, including "The Color of Paradox" and "The Ugly Woman of Castello di Putti," the second of a series of stories called The Gales. Both this story and its predecessor, "Among the Silvering Herd," are prequels to her novel, Child of a Hidden Sea. Or check out her 'baby werewolf has two mommies' story, "The Cage," which made the Locus Recommended Reading List for 2010.
When she is not working on her own fiction, Dellamonica teaches writing online via the UCLA Extension Writers' Program and makes and posts thousands of digital photographs, many of them, lately, on Instagram.
