“this is so nostalgic because i’m reading this for class and a lot of the poems were the ones my great grandmother used to read to me. i really love all the poems that focus on the faeries!”
“<strong>A Good Collection </strong>
I can't count how many times this poet has been quoted in a book I read. I knew I needed to read his poetry. This seemed like such a good and big collection of this poet. I was interested due to my interest in Irish mythology and history. I am inspired by this collection of poetry.”
“I actually prefer Yeats earlier poetry to his later (and more famous) works — I love the incorporation of Celtic mythology and how it turns the poetry into a story. His later poetry, though beautiful, is more enigmatic, and consequently exhausting to read. It gets confusing and that’s when I stop enjoying reading Yeats lol”
