“I grabbed this book on a whim at a local bookstore, magic, circus, a deal with the devil- it has lots going on. It was good enough to make me buy the second one so I find out what happens to all the characters at the circus. 🎪”
“So I just finished this book and I noticed I need to write reviews right away if I can cause I have alot of emotions about the book that I would like to write down. This book is Soo good! I love the dark atmosphere of it, I have always loved the circus 🎪 so I know when I read the title and saw the cover I needed this book in my life. And with everything that is going on yes, yes and more yes. I have noticed that a few parts are a little slow to me but it picks right back up and finishes fantastically.
I love all the elements that are in this book as well. You have a fortune teller, a mad ringman, a lion tamer, time traveling, pregnancy, children growing at a rapid pace and so much more. It does end with a cliffhanger and I need to know what happens next.
Storyline: You have Amadeus that use to pick up the elephant 💩 but goes into the woods and picks a deal with the devil. He advises him that he will get everything he wants but in return he needs to give him souls.
So he buy the circus 🎪, gets the girl and put on dark shows and takes people's souls to feed the devil. Now if that hasn't already captured you in, that isn't all that happens. That is just the first part that...
Then you have a fortune tell cassia and she is telling Vivienne her fortune and what will happen to her if she stays.
This is such a fun , short read that you can enjoy in one day! I am very excited to see what happens next in this series 😁 I would love to see what else this author has to offer too in her other books. This was a great start for me and I am ready for my next read by her.
