Publisher Description

Sometimes the best way to fall in love is to break all the rules...

Orc EMT J.J. Grimjaw has a problem bigger than his biceps: fifty thousand galleons in medical school debt. The underground Cauldron Ball Run offers exactly that prize, plus bragging rights as the fastest supernatural driver in North America. The catch? It's completely illegal, and every magical law enforcement agency will be hunting the racers.

His brilliant plan? Disguise his souped-up ambulance as a legitimate emergency vehicle and cruise to victory. He just needs a partner to make the ruse believable, so he posts a job listing for a "cross-country medical transport."

What he doesn't expect is Sheriff Grizzley T. Lawman—still furious about that incident with his son's wedding—making it his personal mission to drag every Cauldron Ball racer to jail.

Witch paramedic Farrah Moonbeam is recently divorced and desperately broke when she answers what she thinks is a legitimate job transporting a wealthy patient to New York. The pay is too good to be true, but she needs the money. And she definitely doesn't need to notice how her pulse races every time her enormous orc partner smiles at her.

She didn't sign up to be an accessory to supernatural grand theft auto. Or to discover that her "patient" is actually a cooler full of energy drinks. Or to realize that her fake medical partner's growling voice and gentle touch make her forget all about her cheating ex-husband.

Racing across the country while dodging magical speed traps and a vengeful bear sheriff, Farrah discovers that sometimes the best adventures start with the worst decisions—and the most irresistible monsters.

Even if she's now planning to hex him across the finish line.

Beaming Face with Smiling Eyes“This was a great afternoon read. The characters in this book are all so fun, and the story moves along nicely. I would recommend to anyone looking for a quick satisfying read.”
Beaming Face with Smiling Eyes“THIS WAS SUCH AN INCREDIBLE READ! So cute, so sweet, VERY hot, and delightfully funny. I read Witch Bound and Down (the first book in the series before this one) just before this, and I loved it. I didn’t realize it could get better—and it did! JJ and Farrah’s relationship is so beautiful and precious. I really really enjoyed their dynamic and progression. I found them relatable and lovely together. All of the minor racing characters in this book were fabulous. They truly added extra enjoyment and entertainment, and I am so glad they all had shining moments. I’d read a whole side book about their interactions alone.🤣 Sheriff Grizzley T. Lawman is hilarious, but he is completely outshined by his son, Smokie and Mr. Snuggles. 😍🤣 There were several minor editorial mistakes in the text. They didn’t pull my attention away from the actual narrative, but I did notice them.”
