“This one was delightfully vague and thought provoking. I was inspired to read it after seeing https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/1519916442?book_show_action=false&from_review_page=1 . But don't read her 'spoilers' until after you read the short. You can come up with your own theories that way.”

David Nickle is the author of the novels The 'Geisters, Rasputin's Bastards, and Eutopia: A Novel of Terrible Optimism, and co-author of The Claus Effect, with Karl Schroeder.
