“I liked this book! Definitely spooky and well done especially good world building. My only complaint is that I felt that the ending happened too fast. It felt a bit rushed for something with that kind of end. Also, I am positive this wasn’t meant to be this way but I would love to know what someone having “Asian legs” means because I would not be able to tell and I am Asian.”
“This might be the best horror story I have ever read in my life. It was bleak, macabre, gory, suspenseful ... Basically all the things that I love 😋 The sinopsis said it was a hunger games with horror and I'm honestly really tired of those types of descriptions. This book had a very original premise and a particular atmosphere so I think categorizing it like that makes it seem much less interesting than it actually was. All the characters were great, particularly the main character, I think the fact that she had a disability made for a much interesting and original story. I'm not disabled myself but Im always joking that if I ended up in one of theses scenarios I would either survive only until I lost my glasses or I would simply trip while holding a knife and die by my own clumsiness 😂. Therefore I really enjoyed seeing how Nessa managed to thrive despite all the odds being against her. This was the perfect Halloween read. 💯 Recommended!”
