“I really enjoyed the art and the story. The ending is sad. I love that there are writing prompts and discussion questions in the back that parents can do with their children. One has the child explore more about the Hmong people! There is also instruction in the front for kids who have never read a graphic novel that shows them how it's done. A great intro! Definitely checking out the other early reader folktale books in this series.”
