“I didn’t expect Nalla to be so naughty tf! 🤣 No wonder Z is the kind of father he is after going through so much.
This was one of the BDB books that you read fast because It’s action-packed, steady/fast paced, with the right amount of spice, emotion and development.
I loved the fact that this book didn’t describe the stand out characters, such as Nalla, as a weak and sensitive little flower kind of woman. She is straight-forward, is strong and carries herself with that “I got this sh!t” and “don’t fvck with me” attitude. She doesn’t give up for what she wants.
While I always laugh about how FAST these relationships on J.R Ward books develop, Nate’s & Nalla’s is one of my favorites, there is one trying to get through trauma and change himself after taking for granted and try to find ways out of his “curse”, Nalla with how she lived a sheltered life from her parents and is discovering as well. I think this book was well written compared to other books.
P.S I felt a little bad for Evan, the lesser, he just wanted to be someone better 😭”
