“Overall 3.75 stars
Honestly didn't expect to enjoy this short story collection as much as I did. Some were "meh" but the historical stories were particularly engaging. We meet so many figures merely mentioned in the main books (Will's parents, Edmund Herondale and Linette Owens!).
Following Magnus's life throughout the centuries also gave me better perspective on his character. How that many unfathomable years can pile together, aging and preserving you at the same time.
