“I forgot how funny Magnus is. Such a fun little set of stories!!”
“magnus is forever iconic”
“Overall 3.75 stars Honestly didn't expect to enjoy this short story collection as much as I did. Some were "meh" but the historical stories were particularly engaging. We meet so many figures merely mentioned in the main books (Will's parents, Edmund Herondale and Linette Owens!). Following Magnus's life throughout the centuries also gave me better perspective on his character. How that many unfathomable years can pile together, aging and preserving you at the same time. What Really Happened in Peru - 3 stars The Runaway Queen - 2.75 stars Vampires, Scones, and Edmund Herondale - 4.25 stars The Midnight Heir - 4.25 stars The Rise of the Hotel Dumort - 2.5 stars Saving Raphael Santiago - 4 stars The Fall of the Hotel Dumort - 2.5 stars What to Buy the Shadowhunter Who Has Everything (And Who You're Not Officially Dating Anyway) - 4 stars The Course of True Love (and First Dates) - 4 stars”
