“A fun cosy mystery read, Freya is a great FMC coming back into her power after divorce and finding herself with an empty nest. Carole as her elegant elderly aunt is perfect and I want to see more of her dog Harvey in book 2 🤭 I liked that they did the stereotypical grand reveal at the end of the book, reminded me of a movie in the best way”

It was a very cozy murder mystery. It's similar to Clue, so if that's something you enjoy, you may like this book :)
It takes a bit of time to get to the action of the story but personally, it was worth it. I read the last half of the book telling myself "just one more chapter" but then the chapter would end on a cliffhanger so I just had to keep reading until the end.”“finishing this was equivalent to pulling teeth. if i wasn’t so against leaving books unfinished, this would’ve been a dnf. i love a murder mystery and this had potential, but the writing was pretty disappointing.”
