“The Angel Experiment was a re-read, and honestly, I didn’t remember much of it from my previous reading. It’s a fast-paced story set in an easy-to-understand world, with a middle-grade voice that includes plenty of humor. Like Stranger Things with kids being experimented on and tackling dangerous problems without adult help. While I still enjoy the books, I found that my appreciation has waned on this reread; the world-building feels a bit shallow at times and occasionally comes across as a bit preachy, likely because I’ve since read many other YA sci-fi worlds that have truly captivated me. That said, it remains a quick, enjoyable read, and I’m planning to keep going to see if I can make it to the end of the series. I also find myself curious about the adult version of this story.”Megan Moberg

“I loved this book as a child. I re read it for nostalgia purposes and while I can appreciate it isn’t the best fantasy out there(definitely not the best plot or writing), there is still a part of me that loves it. Even just for the memories”
