“I have read a couple of Christina Rich's books now and I absolutely loved this one!!
Noah and Lydia have been friends since childhood. By the time they reached their teens Lydia prays that Noah will want to court her, but Noah marries Lydia's best friend instead. Lydia is devastated. But then Noah's wife gets sick with cancer and she asks Lydia to watch over Noah and their son, Jacob. Jacob is autistic and needs special education. Because Lydia is a teacher she offers to help Jacob and Noah reluctantly agrees.
Soon Lydia finds herself falling for Noah all over again. But Noah has a secret that he can't share with Lydia, a promise he made to his late wife. Can he truly trust God to help him with Jacob and Lydia?
This was a story that is full of hope and redemption. It is such a sweet story.”
