“Neiwert thoroughly examined the actions of far-right activist groups during Trumps 1st term through 2022 in this book. Made excellent points about how the far-right represents itself as well as how they misrepresent the “far-left,” like Antifa and BLM. I really liked the analysis of the conspiratorial mind, as well as other psychological and sociological reflections. So many moments that I had to stop, shake my head, and say, “You can’t be serious!” The degree of misinformation and fear mongering propaganda pumped out by Fox News and influencers like Alex Jones is outright criminal. The measure of harm they’ve caused is incalculable.
The documentation of events is very thorough, which made it feel a little too long sometimes. I felt it ended a little abruptly.”
