“This is a great story filled with amazing writing and strong world building all in an amazingly unique universe. It's a bit like Horatio Hornblower met Archan (the LoL TV show on Netflix).
I really enjoyed how much world building a single piece of narration can provide but in what it says, but also what it deliberately implies. The characters are strong and unique. The only part I struggle with was the personality of the cats. I can appreciate them as characters and they are very well written but they strongly annoy me when I think they are supposed to be charming, probably doesn't help I'm not a cat person. Regardless, the scope and story and strong and enjoyable and I look forward to exploring more of this world in the next books.”Chris Cruz
