“I love a good cold case mystery and this one has it in spades! This was one I had trouble putting down. The story is so good and I have enjoyed the Cowboy protectors series overall. Really good read!

“As the story begins, Ally is looking for evidence that her mother is buried on the Harmon Ranch. Then she is shot. Along comes Tucker Harmon to the rescue. He is on leave from the Dallas PD SWAT team after getting shot and shooting a suspect. Ally was a child when her mother disappeared and all she wants is answers. The closer she gets to answers the more her life is in danger. Tucker and the Harmon cousins want to help Ally close the case as it seems to involve their deceased grandfather.
This is a fast paced mystery with several twists and turns. I enjoyed reading it. A good ending to this series about the Harmon cousins.
