“3/5 l found the main characters absolutely intolerable but the story immensely relatable. I know Lucy in real life and have been Lucy in real life - the insanity of the FMC is a formative part of most girls life.
"Everyone has that guy, Luce. That one guy you think you'll never be able to shake-the one who gets under your skin and epically fucks you up for a little while. I know did."
That quote really sums it up. I think Tell Me Lies may actually help some people feel justified in their craziness. To be able to imagine that "that guy" that everyone has is actually a sociopath. Validating, scary, relatable, and so beyond frustrating, Tell me Lies is a story of young infatuation in reality.”
