“I think this book needed like, three more chapters. It isn't a bad story at all. The characters are very believable, and feel like angry, isolated teenagers. The setting is morbid and lonely and really fits with the plot, and the background of the titular mermaid is really interesting and unique. But it felt to short, and the ending was kind of unsatisfing. Still a good, quick read.”
