“A very fun and steamy adventure through the English countryside! I love when a historical novel has a good, strong heroine and this one definitely did. Portia is both confident and cautious, unafraid to speak her mind, but mindful of the time in which she lives. Mateo is my kind of guy - tall, dark, handome and... disreputable, or so it seems. He's quick with a laugh, but also always right there when Portia needs him. Truly, a match made in heaven.”
About Deb Marlowe
Deb Marlowe grew up with her nose in a book. Luckily, she’d read enough romances to recognize the hero she met at a college Halloween party – even though he wore a tuxedo t-shirt instead of breeches and boots! They married, settled in North Carolina. Though she spends much of her time at her laptop, for the sake of her family, Deb does occasionally abandon her inner world for the adventures of laundry, dinner and carpool.
