“Literally what the eff did I just read… the story had such good potential but decided to go lovecraftian when it could have gone any other way. The ending is supposed to lead us to believe maybe it was the drugs or something that happened, but there was many points that were missed to make that even remotely possible.
No one checked their cellphones for signal. Fighting in a hospital room for more than 5 minutes without a nurse coming. Shallow characters who are worried more about social dynamics rather than a friend just died. Going into deeper water.. When the monster is WATER BASED!!!!
Save yourself the time.”
