“Glad I finally got around to reading this. While I thought the pacing was a bit slow at times, an impressive debut novel encapsulating a remote, yet real environment and era. Howarth’s prose is beyond impressive.”

“This book felt so relatable and brought me back to being a teenager. The author describes things in such detail and it really helps paint the picture for how the main character is feeling and what she’s experiencing in the moment. This book wasn’t action packed and there was nothing “big” that happened, but I still couldn’t put it down. Wish there were more books like this”
