“This is my first time reading anything by this author, I had zero preconceived notions heading into this one. In the plainest of terms it is a Magic Mike situation, but with a better story line and more lovable characters. For me, I loved the nuances of the latin culture. Being hispanic myself, I could easily identify with the main female character Robyn and the dialogue with her parents was totally something I could picture happening with my own grandparents. The story was quick and fun and had me rooting for Robyn and Fallon the moment they met. A flirty romance without a lot of the expected drama but a lot of real life differences to work through none the less. I liked that the characters weren't pigeon holed into stereotyplical dumb male stripper and overly cerebral goody two shoes girl. The characters seemed completely normal and real. Their issues weren't overly complicated or exaggerated as well. If you are into hot and steamy, stripper fantasies, this one is for you!”
