“Overall, this was an excellent read—gripping, emotionally charged, and surprisingly thought-provoking. Even in the moments that were difficult to get through, the story had a magnetic pull that made it nearly impossible to set down. The author balances tension and tenderness in a way that keeps you invested, even when the subject matter becomes uncomfortable or hits a little too close to home.
I’ll admit, I found myself wishing for a different ending, something that tied certain threads together in a more satisfying way. But there’s also something honest about the way it concludes. Life doesn’t always give us the closure we hope for, and the ending reflects that messy, imperfect reality. It lingers—unsettling, bittersweet, and meaningful—which makes the entire journey stick with you long after the final page.”
