We’re constantly working to expand our catalog, but unfortunately we haven’t yet added this title. While we continue to work with publishers to offer more books for sale, we didn’t want our clubs to have to wait. For popular books that aren’t yet available, we’ve added light versions that can be used to discuss in clubs, to add to lists, and to leave reviews, but are not available to buy or read on Fable. If you need to buy a copy, we recommend visiting your local bookstore or library!

Q: Can I start a book club with this book on Fable?

“Lucy Score is one of my favorite romance writers, and this one did not disappoint. This book truly is if Gilmore Girls met Schitt’s Creek and decided to move to Story Lake, PA. Our FMC Hazel is a romance author and let me just say, I think I love this occupation for the FMCs. It is always so fun when the main characters are as bookish as you! Cam, our grumpy MMC, is actually just a big sweetheart and obsessed with him. I am also just obsessed with Lucy Score’s small town novels. Story Lake is as quirky as our FMC and all the side characters that live in the town only added to the charm of this story. The perfect mix of grumpy x sunshine, small town romance, fake dating, with all the residents of Story Lake in everyone’s business just adding to the humor of the novel. I cannot wait for the rest of the Bishop brother novels 😍 Warning: Lucy Score books are long for a romance novel, this one being 550+ pages, but I didn’t mind at all. Some people might but I thought it only added to the charm and humor of the novel and I loved the whole book. Maybe it could have been 100 pages shorter but I had such a great time with this one. Such a cute quirky romance novel.”

“If it’s a Lucy Score book, I’m gonna devour it in 24 hours. This is a small town rom com where our FMC is an author who moves to a struggling small town in the hopes of getting inspiration for a new book. There she meets grumpy contractor Cam and the story unfolds 🥰 In typical Lucy Score fashion, this was really funny and really easy to read. I really loved it 💕💕 I wish I felt a little bit more chemistry between the 2 main characters though and I also kind of missed the mystery element that we’d experienced in Lucy’s knockemout series. I’m SO excited for the next book in this series. Zoey was my favourite side character so can’t wait for her to have her own book hopefully! 🤞🏼”
