“This book was AMAZING! I fell in love with Diamanti's writing style immediately and love how this book really captures the feel of a classic epic fantasy. The adventure was well paced and I loved some of the twists that were put in the book! This was a fantastic read and I enjoyed every second of it. 💜 All the threads came together beautifully and I loved the relationships that were forged, especially near the close of the book.
I will be getting this book in a physical copy (I currently have it on ebook) and can't wait to ready anything and everything else Diamanti has and will write!”

“Man this story was a trip, I grew up watching old cartoons of adventures and loved them. This gave me a nostalgia feel like I've never read with wonderful little spin. I really enjoyed all the griffins and different descriptions of them! The multi POV's were blended nicely and was just so well done that I wanted to keep listening especially our wine loving friend. Gods we love a rag tag group of unlikely adventurers lol I will definitely be continuing this series.
Looking for a fun action adventure this is definitely the way to go.”

“4 stars, 7.29 on CAWPILE
This was a fun installment in the classic fantasy genre! The pieces of the story are ones we've seen before- I see a lot of inspiration from LOTR, yet it was put together in a way to bring a new unique tale to the table.
My favorite character by far is Karnak. While many elements of this book are familiar, Karnak was the best part because he is an orc - but a good guy :') And I adore him. Seeing him question the direction and actions that their orc king was taking them and then making the choice to reject that and do what he felt was right and honorable is exactly the kind of stuff I like to see!
A lot of characters are thrown at you in this book and I did struggle to connect to many of them, though I am not sure if that's a me problem, since I've been struggling with that over the past couple of months.
All in all though, a solid book and I do look forward to seeing what happens next in the series.”

“This was a fantastic read. The story was a fast paced tale of epic and fun adventures, cozy family moments, heart-wrenching character moments, and just so much hope.
There were a ton of fantasy tropes throughout that I simply loved and were integrated with so much love and care by the author.
The characters were well developed and you could feel the love and companionship between the relationships formed throughout the story.
The worldbuilding was fantastic for it being a debut novel. I loved learning about the lore and different areas of Finlestia.
The plot was truly incredible. Diamanti had so many plot threads going on throughout the book and was able to coalesce them into a truly epic adventure. You could feel the heavy influence of ttrpg's such as D&D and I loved it. It almost felt like a group of friends sitting at a table living out these different characters as they traveled along all for them to meet up at the ultima climax of the story and gather for a truly remarkable battle.
My only complaint was there were some instances I would have liked to see more emotional impact from some of the characters.”
