“The whole trilogy was a fun ride. It was great to see how the main characters really developed; how Shadow Sun Seven built on Red Peace, and how Memory's Blade built on Shadow Sun Seven. It could have been combined in a Dune-style epic. Memory's Blade was bittersweet compared to the previous books (for a couple of reasons I won't disclose here). I hope Spencer Ellsworth writes some more books for this universe--maybe on the continuing adventures of Jaqi, or Kalia. Maybe even Toq or Dinah, after they grow up!”
