But they must work together to decipher the connection between the senator and a trail of dangerous weapons threatening to wreak havoc on the Republic. As the two delve further into their investigation, the lines between Jedi and Republic business blur, and Vernestra must rediscover what it means to serve for Light and Life.

“Good read. I still think about it, so it was memorable. However, I think reading it once is enough, unless you read or watch more of the universe and decide to read it again knowing more to see a possible different perspective.
It was nice getting to know more about characters I’ve seen in the film universe, but weren’t as important then. Helps connect to the story well. Brings to light a little more notice for those background characters that other characters know and respect.
I appreciate that it has its own story, and it doesn’t require much of any prior knowledge to read. Though it is supposedly connected to “The Acolyte”, it doesn’t actually connect to that specific story at all, which is nice. It’s not necessary to read, but it’s a good time.
Multiple point of views, including both main protagonists and the antagonist, was enjoyable.
