“This book is great, I was a little worried that I wouldn’t like the writing and it is not like other books with the writing, it makes you feel the pain and anxiety of lourna and want to help her.”
“I listened to this as an audio drama and I will say the production quality is incredible. However, the way the story was told was confusing and jumbled and I am just not a fan of that kind of storytelling. It was also a lot of action and backstabbing which I guess is the point since it's all about Lourna and her past, but it did feel like too much violence for me. I really appreciated the few moments of downtime. Overall, a decent story but I don't know if I'd listen to it again.”
