Well, then they will have to compete. And if they fail? Sudden extermination for their entire species.
This year, though, humankind has discovered the enormous universe. And while they expected to discover a grand drama of diplomacy, gunships, wormholes, and stoic councils of aliens, they have instead found glitter, lipstick, and electric guitars. Mankind will not get to fight for its destiny—they must sing.

“This was, at time, a tough read. The writing was funny and quirky, which I enjoyed, but it was too much and too difficult to follow at times. It rambled and would go on long tangents - causing me to forget what was going on at that point. The olot was unique and covered importnat themes.”

“I tried reading Space Opera in audiobook and it was grating and hard to follow. There’s too little plot and too many circuitous sentences to work in that format. As an ebook, this is much more tolerable.
Still, it’s not my favorite book.”
