Publisher Description

The barrier has been torn asunder. Now they must find the seat of the Sovereigns' power before the mortal realm and the Between collide, altering the fabric of the know realms forever.

Under the Usurper's influence, Leon has left nothing but destruction and undead in his wake. A chilling reminder of the future the world will face if Nea and Garret cannot find the Thrones of Eternity before the Usurper does. Hunting for clues to the thrones' whereabouts, Nea races to the enchanted isle of Quel'sapar. But with the death ward now linking her keen to Garret's, the itchy stirrings of his corruption could prove a fatal distraction.

The hunt leads them deep into the mountains of the Spine where they will finally face down the Usurper and learn that to liberate the Sovereigns, one of them will have to sacrifice everything.

“What an adventure that was! The Usurper has torn a hole in the barrier dividing the mortal realm and the Between and things are getting out including the Usurper. Nea put the Usurper in Leon's body thinking a keen-less one would be safer than one with magic but Leon is mean and without morals. So the rush is on to find The Thrones of Eternity, if Nea and Garret find them they will bring back the Shadow Man and Mother Bright, if the Usurper wins he will find a way to claim the thrones for himself and tear down the barrier and let the worlds collide. The characters are interesting and have fun banter even in tight situations, the magic is unique and the plot has many twisty turns. I'm surprised there are not more reviews on this series, it's not one to be missed.”
“So many threads were picked up and woven together to create this finale! It was so good to see how it all ended! I was so excited when all the different split up groups finally came together! I spent the last two books reading on my lunch break and relaying the story to my coworker. I no longer work there, so my coworker was receiving messages from me with updates, and they named the dog/deer on the cover ‘Sir Bjork.’ Let’s see some things I wrote in my notes while reading: - I flinched at the word ‘lockdown.’ Tell me you live in Melbourne without telling me you live in Melbourne. - Come on Nea, team work will make the dream work! - To summarise - Everyone: “Nea, no!” Nea: “Nea, yes!” - Yeah, she’ll be right. Right? This series was a ride and I enjoyed exploring the world with Nea, Garrett, and Co! Thank you C.E Page for the copy for review!”
