“It started off rough, and it stayed rough for me due to how annoying I found other characters. And it led to a war, with perspective on the other characters that I hate, how interesting it is to have multiple sides that are willing to commit atrocities, how they will justify it in the same ways but how one side is still more sympathetic. How willing characters like Shalla and Ke-hoeps are to look pass compassion for their own benefit and the justifications and decisions that lead to it.”

“**3.5 Stars Castell didn’t pull any punches in this book. I screamed, ranted, cried, held my breath, etc. Pretty much any emotion you can think of. I’m scared of what will happen to the characters in the last two books.”
