“Very much of its time aka pre-COVID New York. I’ve been to so so many of the places mentioned. Predictable and unsurprising plot if you’ve read ‘The Talented Mr Ripley’ (as other reviewers have noted). I didn’t really mind just for the nostalgia factor. Brandy’s Piano Bar! Veselka! House of Yes!”

TARA ISABELLA BURTON is a writer of fiction and non-fiction.
