“This was so freaking cute. Honestly, it what I wanted the books by Travis Baldree to be. I love a post-quest, “well what do we do now” vibe, and this delivered. It was witty, well thought without too much world building or magic systems, great ensemble of characters, well-resolved storylines, and important (but not world-ending) stakes.
