“Wow! This was such a good read! Best one this year so far. Really scary at times, especially as a mother…. Some parts were hard to go through. The ending was perfect! I can’t wait to pick up another book from Ronald Malfi.”

“There’s a lot to like in this book, the first one I’ve read by Malfi, and certainly not the last. The sense of place and atmosphere Malfi creates is impressive, and kept me on edge. There were some really great creepy scenes and one killer twist that kept me surprised. I also really enjoyed the ending, despite it being so dark. With all that said, I just couldn’t connect with these characters. They range from flawed to just downright unlikable, and in this type of story, I wanted to have a reason to pull for these characters to make it out on the other side. Ultimately, I found this novel to be good but not great.”Erika Klahn
