Slow Burn
By Terrence McCauleyPublisher Description
Praise for SLOW BURN and Terrence McCauley:
"Terrence McCauley takes the grand old style of the classic masters of the genre, spits in its eye, then artfully polishes a sharp sheen onto his words with a modern sensibility. But the key to what he does so blisteringly well, is that he never loses respect what makes the classic style great—all the while doing so in a way that makes it wholly his own."
--Todd Robinson, Anthony-nominated author of THE HARD BOUNCE
“McCauley harks back to [authors] Dashiell Hammett and Paul Cain." - Paul Rozovsky
"The story and characters stand on their own." - Dana King
"Fast paced and a thrill on every page." - Tom Johnson
"Rarely have I encountered a novel that made me turn the pages at such a breathless pace." - Les Edgerton
"McCauley strikes just the right balance between historical accuracy and shoot 'em up fun." - Elizabeth A. White
"I've just become a big fan of Terrence McCauley." - Joe Bonadonna
"An impressive debut." - Frazier Rice
